Motovicity supplies the shops and other parts retailers that many of us rely on with the performance parts we’re looking for. As one of the largest wholesale only distributors in the country, they cover virtually every major brand of performance parts on the market today.
This year Motovicity is conducting a contest for their shop and retail suppliers. They are giving away one 2013 Mustang, as well as a 2013 Scion FR-S in their Ticket to Ride Contest. The winning shops will also receive a bevy of aftermarket parts to install on their cars. They will document the installations as well as the performance gains for each modification.
The winning teams not only get a brand-new project car and some of the best performance parts in the world for free, they get to show-off their talents and mechanical capabilities to a national audience. -Brett Kinsfather, Motovicity
“The winning teams not only get a brand-new project car and some of the best performance parts in the world for free, they get to show-off their talents and mechanical capabilities to a national audience,” says Brett Kinsfather, Motovicity marketing manager. Once completed the cars will be raced on a track by a professional driver to determine not only which car is better, but who did the best job in modifying the car.
Providing parts for the Mustang build are, Vibrant Performance, Exedy, StopTech, Royal Purple, Sparco, Gates Racing, KW, Whiteline, BBK and STACK.
The way the contest works is that participating Motovicity clients will receive entries any time they order parts through Motovicity from the supporting retailers. Full contest details are available from Motovicity. We’ll be following the build of the Mustang once it begins, and we’re curious to see how the cars fare when the final testing is conducted. The contest runs until September 30, 2013, and the winner will be randomly selected by computer sometime in October.
