Over 500 ponies and MAA Movie 50 arrived in Charlotte, “The Mustang Promise Land”. Randy Raystall, Ed Griffith and supporting team captured Mustang History. A vision that seemed like a monumental feat a year ago has been accomplished. MAA Movie 50 set out to tell not only the story of the Mustang but of the men and women that have a deep connection for this untamed beast. Many memories and moments were forever captured and will be featured in an upcoming documentary release.
During the travels of Raystall and Griffith they have were able to document many stories from a Mother and Son who only see each once a year, two Cowboys going on a journey from Nova Scotia, to a Father and his son, “the son who just beat Leukemia”, on this great adventure across the country. These are just a few examples of friends and family coming together to spend time with one another united by their mutual love of the Mustang.
Little did Ford Motor Company know in 1964 that this automobile would have such an impact on so many generations. In the documentary clips many share why the Mustang has moved them on the deepest level. Most saying the Pony allows them to unleash the wild spirit and the untamable side of them. During the past week MAA Movie 50 has shared some of these moments on their website. These are just a few sneak peaks of what to see in the upcoming release of the full version of the Mustang Documentary. Raystall and Griffith have captured on film the heartfelt wild spirit of the Mustang that represents a forever freedom that cannot be tamed. Look for upcoming documentary to be release in later part 2014.
