If you’ve ever watched a number of dyno runs, for example at a club dyno day, you’ll likely have noticed that the most powerful cars and trucks take the least time to spin up to the red line. Don’t blink, or you might miss this one.

Check out the latest video from Hennessey Performance. With their VelociRaptor-modified SVT Raptor strapped on the chassis dyno (it barely fits), the 6.2-liter V8 pumps out 517.9 RWHP and 525.2 RWTQ, running just 6.5 psi of boost and 93 octane gas. At the flywheel, the modded engine puts out 622 bhp @ 5,600 rpm and 638 ft-lb of torque @ 4,700 rpm.

Already the most powerful half-ton truck on the market today, the SVT Raptor arrives from the factory with 411 bhp and 434 ft-lb of torque from the optional 6.2-liter V8 engine. The SVT Raptor is the first off-road performance truck ever offered by any vehicle manufacturer. Seven inches wider than a normal F-150 due to substantial suspension modifications, the Raptor is immediately recognizable as something special.

In the hands of John Hennessey’s group, the Raptor receives the HPE 6.2L Twin Turbo System with dual air-to-air front intercoolers, a stainless steel turbo exhaust system, dual 44 mm wastegates and blow-off valves.

Additional equipment includes an electronic boost controller, polished inlet piping, fuel system & injector upgrades and the HPE Engine Management Calibration. Hennessey and VelociRaptor exterior badging, along with a 1 Year/12,000-mile warranty complete the package.
