Most Mustang enthusiasts have other hobbies besides their cars. If it happens to be golf, why not merge two passions into one? For those enthusiasts who play golf or use golf carts for cruising the neighborhood, Caddyshack Golf Cars of Palm Desert, California, has created their own mini version of the 2015 Ford Mustang, but it’s not cheap.
Caddyshack has the official licensing to create these small versions of our favorite vehicles. You may have seen some of their other models including the 2012 Shelby GT500, the 2014 Shelby GT500, the SVT Raptor F150, 2014 50 Years Mustang, and old-school Shelby Cobra.
The newest edition to the golf cart family is the sleek S550 Mustang with authentic appearing taillights unlike the regular round lights given to previous models. The exterior has real working brake lights, turn signals and hazard lights. Completing the whole look are 12-inch aluminum wheels sporting the SVT design.
What’s powering this beast? Power comes from a 48v electric drivetrain which can propel it to a blazing 19.5 miles per hour and 35 whole miles before needing a recharge. For a 48v electric cart, this thing is pretty quick.
Luxury doesn’t stop there. Inside lies carpeting throughout the whole interior, bucket seats made of vinyl, a front locking trunk, a folding windshield, and an interior headliner for the canopy (not pictured). If looking to get super fancy, add an Alpine 4-speaker audio system with Bluetooth capability.
Now that you must have it, let’s talk pricing. Older versions of the Mustang golf car from Caddyshack Golf Carts sold fora whopping $15,490 according to Torqunews.com. Considering that your regular electric golf cart that seats two goes for $8k brand new and $5k used, expect to pay double that for Caddyshack’s mini Mustang cart.
Would you pay that much for a mini Mustang?
