The Fiesta ST is a popular lilttle car, offiering some big thrills, in a small, and affordable package. While the factory power is good, there’s always enthusiasts looking for more. Graham Goode Racing (GGR) agrees with those enthusiasts. Taking it to the next level, the United Kingdon-based Ford performance specialist has designed a tuning package that increases the performance of the Fiesta’s 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine from 180hp and 214 pounds of torque to 240hp and 253 ft-lbs of torque.
Maintaining emission compliance with the Ministry of Transport, the package does retain the standard factory catalytic converter and the Ford exhaust system. Upgrades included in the package are an updated engine control unit from electronics experts Superchips Ltd., a smooth flow air induction hose, and all-new high flow direct air induction system, allowing for more rubber-laying power from the engine.
The GGR ST240 package, priced at $1,188, is only available through Superchips Bluefin handset for easy installation. The remap uploads the updated program directly to the engine control unit through the Fiesta’s on board diagnostics II communication port via the Bluefin handset. GGR is offering the ST240 package for owners of the existing GGR ST225 specification as well.
Graham Goode Racing, is reporting, the user friendly GGR ST240 tuner package exhibits a noticeable difference in performance of the Fiesta ST. The current performance numbers of the ST, prior to the tune package, delivers 0-100 mph in 6.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 139mph. With that said, we expect to see a sizeable increase in street and track performance of the super-mini hatchback. For more info on the GGR ST240 package stop by and visit Graham Goode Racing,
