The saying “there’s an app for that” has become a part of every day vocabulary in the technologically connected world that we live in. And it’s certainly not a false statement, because if you can dream it, there’s probably an app for it. And now, you can even carry around ignition wiring diagrams and related tech information with you everywhere you go.
Now available for free in the iTunes App Store is MSD Ignition’s new Wiring Diagrams and Tech Notes app, which offers consumers an entirely new resource for troubleshooting and product information – perfect for those late night thrashes out in the shop. In creating this app, MSD has taken their Wiring Diagrams and Tech Guide and broken it down into a simple app that can be viewed on the popular Apple smart phones and tablets.
The app opens with 25 different sections to which users can select, each offering a set of instructions or wiring diagrams that work together to make work on MSD products a snap. In all, the app features more than 150 wiring guides, and a favorites list makes it easy to narrow searches to only the items being worked on.
Also among the features is a dealer locator. Users provide their zip code and the phone returns a listing of the closest authorized MSD dealers, which is a great tool if you’re out of town at a race or cruise and need parts or product assistance.
If you’re an MSD customer, be sure to download the free MSD Ignition app to your Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad devices and watch for future updates that expand it’s capabilities. And for those with Android handheld devices, an app is slated to be available in the near future.
