We all love Mustangs, but just how freaky is this one? Well … as they say, maybe this is one of those children only a Mother could love. What ever you may think of this wicked and wild four-wheel-drive, jacked-up conversion, there’s no doubt in our mind, judging by the photographs included in the Craigslist ad (yes, it’s for sale, and just in case you’re interested, see post id: 4347093297) that the current owner has a darn good time with it.
The owner, currently a Conway (Orlando area), Florida resident, has been doing some serious swampland mud bogging with it, as can clearly be seen. And thanks to the extra tall suspension lift (no details in the ad as to how of it is custom-built lift versus store bought), the 1969 Ford Mustang body will ride high and dry above the swampy soup on the rig’s 2-1/2-ton axles.
The ad claims the skyscraper Stang is powered by a Ford 302ci V8 back up with a C6 automatic transmission. During the conversion, an NP205 transfer case was plugged in to split the power to the front and rear axles that spin 44-inch tall Boggers. The rig also has a roll cage, radio and hydro steering. The optimistic owner is looking for $5,500, and will sell it with the 24-foot flat-bed trailer for $1,000 more. Trades are also an option. What do you think?
