SEMA is right around the corner kicking off next month. This is the trade show where you can see all sorts of things from new parts and accessories to some of the coolest custom cars in the world made just for the show. At this year’s SEMA show, you will also be able to see Ford’s own tribute to its 110 year racing heritage. To celebrate the anniversary, Ford will have some of its most historic racing cars in its booth.
Among the cars that will be in the display are the awesome 1967 Le Mans GT40 MkIV that won the race that year. Those GT40 racers are some of the sexiest cars of the 60’s for many sports car fans. Ford will also have of its most famous racing cars on hand, the 1970 Boss 302 that was driven by Parnelli Jones to the championship win in the 1970 Trans-Am series. These Boss 302 cars from 1969 and 1970 inspired the 2012 versions of those history cars and made the Boss 302s of 1969 and 1970 some of the most coveted vintage Mustangs around.
Ford will also have on hand the John Force Funny Cars and the racecar that one the Daytona 500 this year. This should be a special exhibit and probably the only time you can see so many important cars from different forms of motorsports in one display. We would love to see that PJ Boss 302.
