Today was the day that Ford Motor Company has been building up for over 2 years, as the newly freshened 2010 Mustang was released to the public for the first time ever. With major power train enhancements not coming for another year, this was a great opportunity for Ford to give some fresh life to the 5 year old design, and pack in a bevy of new features that enthusiasts have been clamoring for.

The event took place in Santa Monica, California, where the new skin, additional horsepower, safety and suspension improvements were on display. The look of the car is an improvement on the S197 platform, there is no doubt about that, with a sleeker more racy look giving the Mustang a fighting chance against the 2010 Camaro launch only months away.
