Beginning this month, Ford Motor Company will commence accepting applications for the first two production years of the all-new Ford GT supercar, totaling 500 limited production examples. To get customers excited, Ford has also released its live online configurator on the official Ford GT website allowing virtually anyone to build their own tailored version of the blue oval’s halo supercar.

GT enthusiasts are well aware of the prestigious history behind the car’s legacy, which is why we’d expect nothing less from Ford with the all-new GT supercar. Liquid Blue Ford GT profile_800GRThe folks at the Blue Oval have chosen to take a more personal approach regarding the purchasing process on the all-new GT. “The purchase process for the Ford GT is as unique as our all-new supercar,” said Henry Ford III, global marketing manager, Ford Performance. “We understand GT customers are strong ambassadors for Ford Motor Company, and we look forward to providing them a service as distinct as the car itself.” Ford achieves this mindset by allowing applicants to choose their preferred GT approved Ford dealership. Once the dealership is approved, enthusiasts even have the option to complete the purchasing process at the dealership using the ‘Ford GT Concierge Service’. Ford goes the extra mile again by providing approved applicants a concierge which will provide a custom-tailored experience through the ordering and delivery service, as well as through years of ownership.

For the applicant’s convenience, Ford has allowed a web-based application process for the all-new GT supercar. The first round of the all-new GT ends on May 12th, 2016 at 11:59 PM EST; so head over to FordGT.com today and build your own GT supercar using the online configurator.

The online configurator lets enthusiasts choose from over eight exterior color options, seven stripe color options, and more.
