With the collective amount of money being spent and the level of competition that Outlaw Drag Radial racing has today, virtually anyone in the top half of the field can win on any given day. And on any given day that he’s on the property, Jacksonville, Fla. native Kevin Fiscus is a legitimate threat for the big check. At times during the 2011 season, Fiscus crushed everyone with sheer numbers, cementing himself as one of the frontrunners in a class that’s got an awful lot of frontrunners.
Fiscus began the season in February with the first sub-4.40 clocking for an Outlaw Radial car in South Georgia at 4.39 before improving to a jaw-dropping 4.33 at 180 MPH. And while he may have not hoisted the trophy on Sunday, he earned all the headlines and a new reputation as the quickest radial car in the land, period.
In a 2012 season that is fast approaching, Fiscus is teaming up with fellow Drag Radial ace Josh Klugger for a formidable two-man team that will be made all the more formidable with a monstrous new bullet from the brand new Proline Racing shops down in Ball Ground, Georgia. Powering Fiscus’ ’02 Mustang this season will be a brand spankin’ new 632-inch Big Block Ford “Thor” Gen II engine, paired with a set of 94mm Precision turbochargers.
Each season, the Drag Radial arena is a fresh new battleground with one-upmanship taking performance to the next unthinkable level, and Fiscus and Klugger just tossed their hats in the ring.
