eBay Find of the Day: Project Nasty, A Mod Motor ‘69 Mustang
Do you fancy yourself a Mustang nut? Do you want a classic Mustang, but don’t want to suffer through testy carburetors or the rough ride that comes with so many old cars? Do you want all of this right now, without having to select a builder or a goal or any of that other nonsense? Then do we have the car for you.
Up on eBay right now is the heavily-featured and award-winning 1969 Mustang known as “Project Nasty”. Packing a 5.4 liter supercharged engine, a heavily customized body, and a completely unique interior, Project Nasty is the ultimate Mustang in more ways than one.
Where do we start? Well we might as well begin with the engine, obviously grabbed from a Shelby GT500 and packing more than a few modifications. The seller claims 525 wheel horsepower, and who are we to doubt? It is backed by a six-speed T-56 manual transmission, and the motor required a Boss 429 hood scoop just to clear the blower. Yet if you ask us, it looks right at home.
The body received the most attention on Project Nasty by far though. Shaved drip rails, molded headlight buckets, Frenched front marker lights, a rear belly pan, flip down license plate, and so much more. High quality leather was used on the custom interior, and the handling was upgraded with an air suspension, a front sway bar, and a Mustang II front suspension.
This is, in other words, the complete package, ready to drive, shine, and show…or race, if that is what you’re into. Project Nasty certainly looks the part, and for just $144,900, it can be yours!
