Based on the information from the first celebration, the founders estimated that there was a chance that 8,000 Mustang owners would take part in the festivities, but they grossly underestimated the popularity of a day dedicated to driving America’s favorite pony car. For those looking for something a little different, the Southeastern NC Mustang Club has planned a scavenger hunt or poker run to make the most of Mustang Day.
