Carlisle Ford Nationals Coming in Two Weeks!

Early June will bring the 15th anniversary Carlisle Ford Nationals event to Carlisle, PA, with an ever-growing range of features and activities for everyone to enjoy. Over 2,200 Ford, Mercury, Lincoln and Euro Ford vehicles are expected to be on display during the June 3 – 5 weekend.

Indoor displays of Ford concept and other significant vehicles highlight the list, along with test drives of current Ford products, an epic burnout contest, NHRA drag racing, autocross competition, club gatherings, a car giveaway, swap meet, manufacturer’s midway, install garage and more. Whew!

On the show field, there’s more than 50 classes for Mustangs alone. If you bring your Cyclone, Merkur or Ranchero, you’ll not be left out either. There’s show iron for everyone. In case all that isn’t enough to keep your interest, there’s still more going on that weekend.

The Hall of Kings brings you the most complete collection of Shelby King of the Road Mustangs ever assembled. From the classic to the contemporary, you’ll be able to see them all and meet with Shelby American factory representatives. Other special displays will focus on the Ford Starliner and the 40th Anniversary of the Ford Pinto.

In case you are between Mustangs at the moment, more than 250 Ford cars and trucks will be available for sale in the Ford Nationals Car Corral. The best part about the car corral is that you can meet with the seller, drive the vehicle, negotiate your price and see the car in person. Purchase services including notary, financing, insurance and temporary tags are available right in the car corral. How handy is that?

When you’ve had your fill of Ford cars (Is that possible?), you can take break and head out near Gate 5 where you’ll find rock crawlers doing their thing on Saturday only. Back on the show field, you’ll keep finding new things like the Yellow Mustang Club, a display by the Special Service Mustang Owner’s Association, book opportunitiess and a whole lot more.

Once you’ve been to Carlisle the first time, its hard to keep you from going back… and back… and…
