American Muscle recently released concepts of the 2015 Mustang paying homage to a few of its iconic ancestors. The Bullitt, Eleanor, and Iacocca Mustangs have all been imagined and revamped in modern form to show consumers what they would need to build their own with the use of American Muscle parts once the ’15 Mustang hits the streets later this year.
The Bullitt concept features a Highland Green coat of paint to match Steve McQueen’s beautiful 1968 Bullitt with painted headlight housings, side scoops, Bullitt-style wheels, quarter window louvers, a blackout billet grille, and a heat-extracting hood.
The Eleanor concept is obviously slathered in silver paint and marked with the iconic dual black stripes. It has been outfitted with hood pins, large side scoops, a side exit exhaust, Shelby-style wheels, unique headlights, and front fog lights reminiscent of the 1967 Mustang fondly known as Eleanor in the 2000 remake of Gone in Sixty Seconds.
Finally, the Iacocca concept is silver in color and features quarter window louvers, a hood with slight overhang and mild cowl, unique headlights, billet upper and lower grilles, and Iacocca signature wheels. It is modeled after the 2005-2009 Iacocca Mustang, which pays homage to the “Father of the Ford Mustang”, Lee Iacocca.
Each concept’s picture is featured alongside its namesake, and American Muscle invites you to vote for your favorite by posting #2015bullitt, #2015eleanor, or #2015iacocca. Though you’ll have to wait a little while before knowing how much a conversion might run you, it’s never too early to get the gears turning and figure out exactly what you want to build. Whether you’re into the dark and stealth vision of the Bullitt, the raw and powerful appearance of Eleanor, or the luxurious and streamlined Iacocca, American Muscle has got you covered.
