Those lucky enough to own a 2010 Mustang will be happy to hear this news coming from Vortech. They have now finished development on the 2010 Mustang Tuner Kits. The kit uses the popular Vortech V-3 internally lubricated centrifugal supercharger to make 462 HP and 419 lb/ft torque.
The supercharger itself can be coated in a satin finish, or polished to a mirror-like finish depending on what you like to see under your hood. Inside the blower, you’ll find Vortech’s high-efficiency impeller and housing.
While these are only tuner kits, Vortech is currently developing a full complete kit to add to their already massive database of part number for supercharger kits for almost every other Mustang.
Check out the quick facts on the kit currently offered:- Includes Vortech gear driven supercharger with SQ technology that they claim provides a near silent operation and unmatched reliability.
- High-efficiency impeller and housing design developed in Vortech's supercharger test cell.
- Fuel management upgrade that includes a high-flow fuel pump, high-capacity fuel injectors, and DiabloSport Predator hand-held programmer to re-flash the factory processor
- Their High output systems use an integrated air/water, dual-pass charge cooler configuration that Vortech says allows for additional horsepower gains and features maintenance-free design.
- Oil feed and oil drain assemblies deliver lubrication and cooling for the supercharger even under sustained boost conditions.
- Inlet and discharge duct connections utilize heat resistant silicon sleeves and stainless steel clamps.
- Includes a billet aluminum mounting bracket for "factory-type" appearance and rigidity.
- High-flow bypass valve that Vortech claims provides surge-free compressor operation.
