Sometimes it takes a few months for a truly unique build to get attention. Such was the case with WMS Racing, who built the Vanquish'd S197 Mustang equipped with a V12 Aston Martin engine and debuted it at this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas. Just recently a video has been floating around Youtube and other sites - and then that got it picked up by Autoblog and a few other media sources.
However - there has been almost no information on the car. Well, since this is old 'new' news - we figured StangTV could tell you a little bit about this creation from Dave Lockwood and Shannon Wall of
Western Motorsports.
The Vanquish'd was a unique idea. Take one S197 Mustang, add a Aston Martin Vanquish V12 engine, stroke it to 6.1L, and equip it with 620+ hp courtesy of the WMS power upgrades. Oh yea, and since it's going to make a crap load of power, better mini-tub it and install 19 x 12 wheels with mind-numbing 345mm wide Viper rear tires.
Here's the video that got everyone stirred up.
