The road trip is a classic American journey. Traveling state to state, experiencing the diverse majesty of our beautiful country. It wouldn’t be possible though without the car, and the vehicle you drive determines the mindset of your journey. Do you throw caution, and cargo space, to the wind and go in a classic convertible? Or do you splurge and rent (or buy) an RV that is essentially a home on wheels. We’d go with the first option.
Jockey, maker of fine underwear products, has gone on a road trip to promote their product. As part of that promotion, they are giving away a 1965 Mustang convertible.

A road trip is a great way to promote product awareness. Giving away a classic Mustang droptop (valued at $30,000) is an even better way of getting attention. Everybody loves free stuff, especially free cars. Jockey’s road trip kicked off in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and just arrived in Indianapolis, Indiana, where the Mecum Auto Auction is being held. Other stops include St. Louis, Missouri, and Temecula, California…right down the street from the PowerTV headquarters!
The stop in St. Louis will be for the US Cellular Rib America event. One of the most interesting stops is in Issaquah, Washington, where the Tastin’ and Racin’ festival takes place. This event involves lots of food, and lots of racing…on water. Rather than cars, this festival is all about high-powered speed boats. It may not have wheels, but it still sounds fun. The contest runs now through July 31st, and the drawing for the Mustang will be hold “on or around August 5th”, according to the Official Rules.
