Suspension and Chassis Gurus - Team Z Motorsports
Team Z Motorsports was started by Dave Zimmerman a few years ago and has quickly grown. Team Z has become well known for their suspension parts in the stock suspension community. Most of Dave’s customers bring Mustangs in for him to work on, but that is not all he does. He has even done work on the Nostalgia Pro Street SuperNova that Robin Lawrence drives. Earlier this year there was a rumor going around that Team Z might shut down. The grind of running his own business along with the long hours was taking its toll on Dave. We have good news that the rumor is not true. The focus of Team Z will be more towards the suspension component business and involve less car builds.

Dave is known for his attention to detail and working within a schedule. Chris Tuten dropped off his well abused chassis to Team Z over the winter. The car was delivered on schedule and gave Chris the time to have the car ready for the first NMRA race of the year.

Team Sutton Performance is another very satisfied customer. Team Sutton ran in the 8.40’s at the first races. The problem was their car was only certified to go 8.50. They had to slow the car down until they could update the chassis. With the big break between the second and third event Sutton dropped the car off at Team Z. Dave was able to get the car updated and back to Team Sutton in 3 weeks, giving them time to get the car back together as well.

Team Z is the right place for state-of-the-art Mustang drag race and street suspension components. Adjustable upper and lower control arms and anti-roll bars, roll bars and cages, mini-tub kits, and complete rear end packages. Every Team Z-built part is made from 4130 chrome moly, TIG welded in a jig for a perfect fit. Team Z products are still - and always have been- 100% made in-house in the USA. They have recently expanded their lineup of hardcore Mustang suspension components to include new upper and lower control arms. Also by demand, Team Z is proud to announce the arrival of our highly anticipated Mustang K-member and A-arm kits. Now you can outfit your entire Mustang front end with parts exclusively from Team Z.
