The 2010 Mustang is without a doubt one of the best-looking cars to come out of Detroit in decades. The sharp angles, aggressive stance, and refined interior all make for one hell of a factory car. Of course there is always room for improvement. Many fans of the original pony car have been clamoring for a Steeda version since the 2010 Mustang debuted last November. While Steeda is surely working on a high-horsepower, wild pony version of the Mustang, they have appetites to wet.
Thus,
Steeda has announced the immediate availability of the Steeda Sport Edition Mustang.
This sporty package, priced at a surprisingly affordable $6,995 (not including the car obviously), upgrades the suspension, engine, and exterior for a unique treatment that is all Steeda. On the outside, Steeda gives the ‘Stang a special black hood paint, 20”chrome Steeda Spyder wheels, and sidewinder stripes. The engine gets a special air cleaner and underdrive pulleys to boost horsepower, and Steeda sport springs and billet lower control arms for improved handling.
A special Steeda sport shifter and
Nitto NT05 High Performance tires round out this package. This should keep fans satiated until a supercharged Steeda is made available, which should likely come later in the year. In my opinion, the only thing really missing from this package is an exhaust system of some sorts. Still, for under seven grand, can you complain?
