Twenty years ago, Dario Orlando opened up Steeda Motorsports to elevate the Ford Mustang to unprecedented levels of performance. Since founding the company, Steeda has gone on to win more championships and set more track records than their competition in the Mustang performance world while producing some of the most desirable and well known cars on the planet. And while the economy is seemingly in shambles, Steeda has just put the finishing touches on a new manufacturing and testing facility that sits on 35 acres of land in Valdosta, Georgia. This location will allow them to work closely with local schools like Georgia Tech to train a new generation of power engineers.

This facility features a 100,000 square ft. building that houses the designing, manufacturing, and distribution wings of the Steed business and took only ten months to complete from the ground breaking ceremony in February of 2008. The new facility will come with state-of-the-art CNC machinery as well as engineering and manufacturing equipment. Additionally, Steeda built a 1.2 mile road course with variable road surfaces to road testing their cars on the skid pad, slalom, and braking areas and a nearby the South Georgia Motorsports Park is an all new drag strip. Having all these facilities in house
will allow Steeda to streamline their operations and represents an exciting new chapter in the history of this storied brand.
