Stang TV Sponsors the AETC for 2009 and 2010
When it comes to late-model muscle car performance, powerTV prides itself in being at the forefront of editorial and video content related to the industry. As the advancement of the performance industry is critical to its survival, not everyone understands in depth what these new engines are all about. That is why for 2009 and 2010, powerTV has signed up as a SIlver Level Sponsor for the Advanced Engineering Technology Conference (AETC). This year, the 2009 AETC show will feature “Advanced Ford Modular Performance Conference” and powerTV channel StangTV.com will be there to cover the action.

For more information, check out the AETC website. To register for the AETC, click here.

Modular-powered Fords have been around since the early 1990s, but has made great strides in the last few years as a proven power potential of the future. Started as 190-horsepower 2-valve versions, mod motors have continued through their evolution to include the 550 horsepower 4-valve Ford GT super car.

This is the twentieth year for the AETC, which is held the three days prior to the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) trade show in Orlando, December 7-9, 2009. The conference will feature industry leaders and world famous performance experts to speak on a variety of subjects. The AETC will also feature a welcome reception, exclusive AETC seminars and booklets, along with the opportunity to meet and network with some of the biggest icons in the performance automotive industry.

Some of the highlights of the event will include discussions on cylinder head design, advanced building and tuning tips for supercharged Mod motors and unreleased information on new Ford technological developments to come. The conference is designed to be a relaxed, casual atmosphere where you can discuss present and past engineering topics with experts in the field. Besides seminars and roundtables, also included are a new Modular product manufacturer showcase and review and an insider networking cocktail party.

If you plan to attend the AETC conference, early sign up is recommended as the space is limited to only 350 attendees. If by chance you cannot make the event or PRI all together, keep it tuned to StangTV from December 7-12th for coverage from both the AETC and PRI.
