Subject: New Smaller SFI 3.3 Glove and Shoe Certification Labels
Since March 1, 2006 SFI Foundation, Inc. (SFI) has been providing a new smaller size Spec 3.3 certification label to the manufacturers of gloves and shoes. The smaller label is intended to better fit the size of the products. This change was able to be made because there is no expiration on gloves or shoes. Please note that the new smaller label applies to all levels of gloves and shoes. SFI labels for other Spec 3.3 products (arm restraints, helmet supports, etc.) will continue to use the larger style labels with the dates.
