It's no secret that Ford has struggled in the Pro Stock ranks ever since Bob Glidden hung up his helmet racing for Big Blue. Still, we can all dream a little bit. Since the chances of a Ford being competitive again are such a long shot, we thought we'd share with you this creation from

Some interesting notes from 69Stang. The model is an original Johnny Lightning but he modified it significantly to make it into the Pro Stock stype 2005-up Mustang. Big fat slicks in the rear with skinnies, long tube headers, tubs, and a complete roll cage were included.
"As for the cage, this on was a pre-built interior and cage from an Action Pro Stock," said 69Stang. "I just had to shave and shape to fit. But I am planing on building them from scratch in an upcoming project or two."
"I have been inspired by the work of a few builders lately, so my next version of this car will have a removable front clip and exposed motor..."
