3rd mustang
I've owend mustangs before but I never allowed myself the privliage of owning a High Poformance mustang. The couple of coups I had owend were nice but lack the power I really desired. So when 2005 rolled around I was anamored by the advance retro style that was designed for the new mustang. I actually was shopping for a 911 Porsche. I determined my budget was around 20K. All the mini cars I test drove had the potenial of becoming a money pit. I was driving down the highway I noticed a 2005 GT up on the stand at the local ford Dealership. Soon I was intercepted by a sales rep. I told him I wasnt looking for a gas consuming sports car. He showed me an 06 4litter pony package, white, shaker option and leather interior. I liked the car very much but the dealer was not able to meet my bid. I went home got on the net and believe it or not I found almost the exact same car 2 miles down the road from the ford dealer with only 6500 miles for 5 K less and of the prior year. So I had to check it out. The sales man had to have the car retrieved from the used car lot to the local Hummer dealer. Yes I bought my mustang from a hummer dealer go figure!!! I drove the car and realised this car is much diffrent then almost the exact car I test drove the day before. After a sturdy test drive and a stop for the sales man to relieve himself, I came to the desicion to look under the hood dah. It was at that point I discoverd a cold air intake with a matching colored blume hood with a 4L pony emblem staring right back. I asked the sales man what is the history on this car. He replyed he knew very little at that same moment the service manager walked by and he had all the goods on this car. He said a local police officer bought the car out of state where some special opttons were installed. All I knew was this mustang was plane in appearance but had a couple of exstra goodies. It was not much but I really like the car and love opperating the mustang through all 5 gears. To make a long story a little shorter I bought the 06. I have done nothing to it but change the oil regularly. I am thinking about a new muffler but I like it as it is presently. More to come as time goes on.

Welcome to the Mustang hobby and to StangTV. We did an entire project on a 2007 V6 car, Project New Take Off.

I HIGHLY recommend you check out New Take Off's website. They have tons of V6 upgrade parts for a very reasonable price.
