Thank you, I am hoping to be home for about 34 days. I need to see some drag racing so I will probably make the 8hr drive up to MI. in June. My brethren and I thank you for the respect that you have for us in the military.

Yeah Carl, no problem. There's no shortage of 'Stangs in Southern Cal.
No OB? Perhaps a grape Oscar or two?
Dude, outside the front gate of Humphries, down a couple blocks and take a left, there used to be a club called the Top Hat. Is it still there? I remember.... well maybe not remember, but I heard that I was carried out of there a few times. They had that rum, I think it was called Captain Black, and the Captain and I fought a couple times. He won.
I lost a lot of brain cells in Korea. Fortunately I didn't lose anything I really needed.
I worked on the Marine Huey & Cobra Helicopters, so I guess you could say that I assaulted the air too. I remember that everytime we launched from the flightline, the missiles launchers in the North would always track us. It always made me a little nervous hearing the missile lock tone in my helmet. I imagine that still goes on over there?
God bless you man. It's a good career. There are a whole lot worse ways to make a living, that's for sure. I appreciate the sacrifices that you and your family make. Lord knows there are many. Keep your head down and keep going forward.

Thanks Bobby, I appreciate it. Don't get to fly around in the Apache since it's a pilot only acft. I do know about the Top Hat though. Been there, Korea has changed a bit since the last time I was here. There is no more juicy girls, or at least they can't proposition you anymore..lol. I think the last time I was in the Top Hat they had Russian girls in there. I have buddies that crew the Blackhawks over at K16 and they tell me that the NK's still target thier birds when they fly along the DMZ, and some of our pilots say the same thing. They are just itchin to shoot one of us down I guess..lol. I dont get around Cali much, I know there is a butt load of Stangs out there. I'm looking for a 94-95 Cobra in really good shape. I dont care about miles as I will build me a new engine for it. I'm eye balling one in Fl. right now. Dude wants $19,000, it's got a built 347 with a Vortech, the whole car is built actually. Are you gonna be up at the Milan event? I plan on driving up there in June when I come home on leave. Take it easy bro.

Carl

Hey Carl, Not going to make the Milan event.
Check it out bro; I'd love to keep in touch with you, but this thread might not be the right place to do it. Feel free to go to the BJ's Corner area in the blogs section of the forum and leave comments for me. I like being able to communicate on the forums where other people can read and get involved in our conversations. Who knows, maybe someone will have the exact car at the right price for you and jump into our conversation.

Russian girls at the Top Hat? UGH. Back in the 80's the Marine Corps got a black eye from the russian KGB informants that were dating the Marines on Barracks duty at the embassy. Since then, Russian women frighten me. Even the ones that shave their facial hair.

So really how much does a stock Pony Car package V6 mustang weigh.
Hi guy,

I am new to the Ford Mustang way of life. I am a Mopar guy for the last 30 years but after having warranty problems with my first new car I decided to buy a new mustang. And so far I just love the thing. The look the feel everything. I am looking forward to owning the car for a very long time. I intend on modding it with the addition of dual exhaust, headers, cold air package, and of course computer chip to make the cold air work right. Have heard if you do not reprogram the chip the car will not run very well as it will run lean. In the future the car will get upgraded with the 8.8 LSD dif with 4.10 gears from take off. And also in the plans is the x charger supercharger. I really did not need the V8 and from an insurance stand point and the fact that we here in Canada are paying the equivalent of 4.70 for a Us gallon I really did not need the extra cost of all the gas that I will go through. The V6 in stock form is a very nice package from what I can tell. Feels fairly strong for having 2 less cylinders than the faster Ford Mustangs. My questions are how much do these cars weigh in at with the V6 Pony Package. And how many out their have the x charger and how do you like it. Answers to these two questions will be much appreciated.

Mofomoco Doug. Mo for Mopar and Fomoco for ford.

Previously known as MoparDoug for like a million years.
I still really love Mopar but will never buy another new one as their warranty totally sucks. So I have changed the name to reflect the fact that I am now a Mopar and Ford lover. Mustang you have changed an old dog over here.

Mopar Doug.
I love em all. Mopars are just as cool as anything else on the road.

You'll love the X Charger. It made a world of difference. I'd save my pennies and make that my first upgrade.

Mofomoco, Just wondering, what intake and tune are you looking at? I don't know so much about changing the intake creating the engine to to run lean, but it will help it get better and colder air. The tune will allow the engine to run at it's optimum while the intake will allow it to breath better. But by no means am I one of those wiz kids in this subject. James, Kbro or Mark are the wiz kids and if they could answer this I am sure they could clear up the black magic called tuning.
