My name is Robert and I'm a mechanical engineer from Tacoma, Washington. I have been a fan of Mustangs and an enthusiast for many years. I have a 2005 GT Mustang as well as a 1987 LX.

I am into all-around performance, not just drag racing or straight line speed. What gets me going is a good mix of power, performance, handling, braking and good engineering. I'm looking forward to being a productive member of StangTV.

Thanks for welcoming me.

Welcome to the site 84 GT. What are you trying to do with your car? Is it still equipped with the venerable Holley?

Well as of right now nothing is in the car. The car was totally stock when i took it apart. It was my daily driver up until then. The plans are to pretty much to put the outside and interior back to stock, but upgrade the drive train. I want to upgrade the trans, rearend, suspension and to build a 347 stroker. Probably a stroker kit from coast high performance. I will also probably ditch the carb for fuel injection. I want to use a 4 barrel style retro fit unit like edelbrock, accell or holley so i can reuse the factory dual snorkel air cleaner. This will kind of keep it looking stock and utilize the factory cold air ducting in the left and right fenders. Tell me about your stang.
