NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl Shootout 2008 Results

For the last three years Pro Media has combined the NMCA and NMRA races to have a Super Bowl race in one of the nicest drag race facilities in the country at Joliet, Illinois. After eliminations for each series the winners are paired up with a class that has similar elapsed times from the opposite series. For an example, NMRA Hot Street winner would race the winner in NMCA Pro Stock. The track will use the racers best time from the weekend and it is set up as a staggered start so no one is at a disadvantage. The winners receive a fabulous Super Bowl ring and some bonus cash for winning the extra race. The first two years the NMRA took the crown from the NMCA, but it was different this year. The NMCA got payback winning 8 of the 11 races to take the overall crown and bragging rights.
