The weather is great here in Milan on Fathers day. Round one here in Michigan starts at 9:30. There was not much work going on here in the pits this morning, so I am assuming most everyone have their cars fixed for first round. The swillers EFI Renegade car is done for the day and will not make the call for first round. Kolivas had his car back together, but no one was around to confirm that it is fixed. Tubing John’s car was in the Tuten trailer for a transmission change this morning, which appeared to be complete.
Here are the ladders for today. Hot Street has a new ladder that I will get posted after first round.

First round is in the books for most classes. In Factory Stock Tommy Godfrey ran the fastest pass of the weekend with an 11.33 on his bye run. Tommy will face Steve Gifford to make it to the finals. Jay Dold keeps picking up the pace each round. He ran an 11.58 and will meet John Leslie Jr. in the semi-finals.
In Pure Street Ryan Hecok took out Mark Anderson in the first round. Ryan will face Ken Bjonnes in the semis. This should be a good race, because I believe both ran in the 10.30’s in first round. On the other side of the ladder it will be Alsept against Mason.
Bruce Hemminger took out Mike Washington in the first round with the only Real Street pass in the 9.70’s. Hemminger will face Brian McCormick in the semi-finals. One the other side of the ladder it will be an MV Performance match up with Tim Matherly racing Jim Breese.
After having a bye in the first round of Hot Street, Charlie Booze will face Mike DeMayo in the semi-finals. Robbie Blankenship took out fellow Roush customer David Murry and will face Justin Curry in the SAM car to meet in the semi-finals.
Number one qualifier Bob Kurgan received the bye into the first round but will be tested in round number two. Bob will face John Kolivas, who ran an 8.teen to take out Josh Klusser in the first round. Kolivas ran low ET for the first round. Bill Wolf received a competition bye when Tubing Jon Bowles was unable to get his transmission fixed. Wolf will face Doug Johnson who took out Trace Meyer. Joey Bridge was able to get by a spinning Jason Lee with his 8.2 and has a bye in to the third round. Tony Akins takes out Jeff Lorch and David Purlee got a bye when Pete Johnson could not make the call. Akins and Purlee will face each other in round two.
Alton Clements got by Dan Rawls in the first round of EFI Renegade and will face number one qualifier Bart Tobner in round two. Larry Hourcle put his car on the bumper racing Chris Van Gilder. Larry stayed in it until he took out a cone at half track. Van Gilder will face Dave Guy in the second round. Dave had a bye when Scott Lovell was unable to make his lane call. Bob Cook ran an 8.4 to take out Jason Geroulo in round one. Cook will race Larry Reese who took out a slowing Brian Tuten. Ed Thomas took out last years champ in round one and will face Joel Howard in round two. Howard was able to run fast enough to beat Chris Berry.
Pro 10.5 and Super Street Outlaw will be up shortly!
Dan Millen matches his qualifying effort in Pro 10.5 with a 6.93 in the first round against Zoop Zellonis. Dan will face Essick in the semi finals. On the other side Brian Carpenter will face Conrad Scarry.
The big news from Super Street Outlaw is that John Urist red lights and gives the win to John McDonald. Powell takes out Richard Lelsz with a 7.48, the fastest pass of the weekend. Burton and Posey also advance to round two.
They have sped up the program, because rain is on the horizon.

Charlie Booze had a red light against DeMayo. Booze’s 8.81 was faster then DeMayo’s 8.84. Blankenship ran an 8.89 to take out Curry who had a red light also.
First race of Drag Radial in the second round was the Kolivas against Kurgan matchup. This was a side by side race the whole way down. They left together and Kolivas took the win with an 8.17 to Kurgans 8.26. Kolivas will face Johnson, who took out a tire spinning Wolf. On the other side Bridge, who ran an 8.26, will face Akin.
Tobner was upset by Clements, who ran an 8.74 and will face Guy. Guy took out Van Gilder with an 8.59. Cook and Howard will face each other for a shot in the finals.
Carpenter goes red against Scarry in Pro 10.5. Scarry runs a 6.92, but had some flame from underneath the car through the lights. Essick was un able to make the cal against Millen, and Millen runs a 7.14.
McDonald takes the win because Posey can not get the car to start. Johnny Mac runs a 7.57 and will have a bye to the finals. Hines will face Powell, who ran a 7.50 on his bye run.
In Drag Radial Bridge takes out Akin with an 8.29. Akin did a great driving job to keep his car off the centerline and still ran a 8.3. Kolivas took out Johnson with an 8.14 to reach the final against Bridge.
Guy takes out Clements with an 8.62 to reach the final in EFI Renegade. Howard took out Cook with an 8.58 to Cooks 8.65.
