John Kolivas was running very consistent all day. After running the 7.99 in the Saturday morning test, he was unable to make a good pass the rest of the day. He ran 8.17, 8.17, 8.14 and 8.20 on Sunday. John was not able to collect the bonus money from BFG and expects to have some extra weight before the next race.
Dan Millen runs the fastest pass in qualifying in round one but hurt the motor in the process. The team was able to get the motor changed and backed up the qualifying pass with a 6.93 in the first round of eliminations.
Conrad Scarry makes it three for three. Conrad has won all three NMRA events in the Pro 10.5 class and has a dominating lead in the points.
AJ Powell wins his first race. Not only did AJ win his first race, he has taken over the points lead in Super Street Outlaw in a close battle.
Charlie Booze left too early and turned on the red bulb in the second round of racing against Mike DeMayo. Booze went on to run faster than DeMayo on that pass to rub salt in the wound.
John Urist is another one that turns on the red light in the first round of Super Street Outlaw. John was racing another Procharged Mustang in John McDonald.
John McDonald making the most of getting a red light from Urist in the first round takes out Posey in the quarter finals and gets a bye to the final. John will have to wait for his first win, because he spun the tires in the finals.
Alton Clements has, what I believe is his best day as an EFI Renegade racer. Alton makes it to the semi finals by beating Dan Rawls in the first round and taking out number one qualifier in the second round.
Larry Hourcle put it on the bumper in the first round of Renegade. He did not let out until it was headed towards the centerline and took out a timing cone. He received our Comp Cams Wild ride of the event.
The rain stayed away from the track so all eliminations were finished here in Milan, Michigan.
