John Leslie Jr. is the number on qualifier in Factory Stock. John’s pushrod car ran a 11.49 in the first round of qualifying. In the top four cars there are 2 mod motors and 2 pushrod motors.
This is the first race in years that Vic Downs has not been racing with the NMRA. Vic is recovering from a medical problem, but he did not want the car sitting around. Ken Bjonnes loaded up the car along with the rest of the Modular Depot cars and headed to Milan. Ken is sitting in the number three spot with a 10.32.
Bruce Hemminger shows up unexpectedly to race in Real Street. Bruce laid down a 9.77 to be the number two qualifier.
Bart Tobner showed up to Milan with a car that he had only raced in NMCA one time. He added the 350 pounds that is required and came out and qualified number one in EFI Renegade. Bart was able to run a 8.62 at 160 mph.
