The NMRA has released their mid season rules revisions for the remainder of the season. As in many organizations, they allow competitors to voice their opinions on rules that could be changed for the better of their respective class. In many cases it is found that one such rule will allow more cars to come into a class, which is always a good thing with the current economic change times. Also there are revisions to even the playing field, if it is felt that one certain combination has an unfair advantage over another.

The recent deadline for rules changes came to an end and those that submitted written change requests were taken into consideration. This is just the procedure that officials must go through to ensure the integrity and fairness of the sport. There are 13 classes that the NMRA contests at their national events and of them only six of them were subject to change.
