Johnny Lightning and Mike Motycka found themselves in a very close final on Sunday. Mike was driving strong all day and took his 12.03 Dial in to a 12.07 winning the event over Johnny Lightnings 11.45 Dial in running a 11.50.
Steeda Open Comp
Micheal Olencheck took the win over Danny Towe in Steeda Open Comp. Mikes fairmont was running awesome, going a 10.262 with a 10.26 Dial in! Talk about close!
Roush Performance Modular Muscle
Susan McClenaghan and Tom Motycka also had a great run in the finals. Tom ran an amazing 12.47 over a 12.45 to Susans 10.67 over her 10.69, resulting in a breakout in the final round.
ACT Factory Stock
Steve Gifford wins over John Leslie Jr in Factory Stock, presented by ACT. John Leslie was a little excited at the tree, resulting in a red light. Never rushed, Steve Gifford ran a 11.46
BFG Drag Radial
Bob Kurgan and John Kolivas were both on top of their game on Sunday. Kurgan ran an 8.279 in the semis and had trouble in the finals, resulting in an aborted run. Either way, Kolivas was cooking, running an 8.205 at 176.35 to take the win at Silver Dollar.
