FRIDAY AFTERNOON TEST AND TUNE - NMRA GA 2008

Friday at Reynolds is looking great so far! What started as a rainy friday morning has turned into a wonderful sunny day here in Georgia. The sun has brought out the big boys for lots of wheels up action as everyone shakes down the track for tonights qualifying round 1.

Conrad Scarry hears a scary noise!

As they say "Some days your the windshield, some days your the bug.." Conrad Scarrys team is off to a rough start. After attempting a shakedown pass, they dropped a valve and whacked the top of a piston.
You can see the damage to the top of the piston and one of the team trying to take any sharp edges off the nick. If all goes well they will drive all night to get a new valve and guide from Proline Engines and make qualifying pass tomorrow.

Nothing like waiting on FedEx...

Several cars were spending all morning waiting for FedEx to deliver much needed parts to the track. Here you can see Mike Brown waiting for some top end parts for his sweet twin turbo Mustang.

Miller Race Cars is testing well today

After a couple of good shakedown passes, the Miller Race Cars race cars look ready to rock. We will see what they have in Qualifying.
