The NMRA has decided to add a new class in 2008 for S197 2005-up Mustangs in conjunction with JDM Engineering's support - JDM "Super Stang". This class will be run at every event remaining in the schedule with the exception of the NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl event in Joliet.

• Atco, New Jersey August 8-10
• Columbus, Ohio, August 29-31
• Bowling Green, Oct 2-5
Super Stang will be a declared index-style class only open to the new body style. The NMRA has done the hard work with the contingency sponsors, the Super Stang
will be eligible for some contingency monies for winner's and runners up, as well as a World Champion crowned at the end of the year!

Runner-Up: $250
Semis: $75
Quarters: $30

complete form on the NMRA web site. The only thing we found difficult to enforce will be the no rental car rules. Since V6s are permitted, how will this be enforced?

• S197 Body Vehicles using 3V or 4V, or V6
• Any modifications permitted except 2-steps and trans-brakes
• 3,400 lb minimum weight
• Slicks prohibited
• Foot brake only
• Rental Cars Prohibited
• Mufflers prohibited
• GM Powerglides prohibited
• Full Interior required, full carpet, Race Seats OK
• Index Based Format (choose your own index prior to Round 1)
• Index is locked-in for Eliminations
• Closest to Index wins (no Breakout) and Re-ladders you for Round 2
• All Run, Sportsman Ladder, Pro .500 Tree
