Love my Mustangs. Starting to get into Drag Racing my 83 Vert Foxbody. Wife just gave me the OK to do whatever I want to it or buy another just for racing. Not going to start anything till after the 45th in Al.

Thinking a 460 with a c-4, change the rear to a posi and drop a gear or two. Next will be a roll bar and maybe some Noz if I don't feel like I'm going fast enough. But then again Iwon't be driving it to much, just to the track. Thats why I might find a cheap fox fast back and work on it.

Wow most of us are dreaming if we hear that! You better keep your wife close she sounds like a keeper! haha

Plan sounds good. Don't overlook things like suspension or brakes. Suspension will; help the car hook and the brakes will keep you out of the sand trap at the end of the track, which is always a good thing.

You got the OK.... Oh my! I have not heard of such freedom. What drugs did you slip your wife when she said that?

Are you using the stock rear and swapping the gears?

Wow! That's the ultimate freedom. Do what ever you want and not get heckled as to why you need it. Wish i had the same response, and I'm not married..... technically. Big ups to you and keep us posted on the build.
