new here, question about wide bands
Hey everyone pretty new here, was hoping to ask a few technical questions and maybe provide some answers if I can help. I'm a carb guy, fairly new into the Mustang hobby, have a '80 mustang with a 351W.

Anybody have any recommendations on wide bands, what the best ones are and why? I'm looking for a tuning air when I go to the track.

Wideband options
There are many options avalialable however depends on exactly what your looking for. FAST offers a dual bank setup which would probably work better for mustangs, NGK makes a single? But is very accurate. Its called AFX. There is also a unit called Prologger which also datalogs without a laptop.

Several of our sponsors make great Widebands - you can check out Innovate, FAST, or Dynojet depending on your specific needs.

I have never heard of Prologger? Web link?

Heres the link its a pretty neat device, but it is pricey and has great features compared to other competitors. http://prologger.com It has pretty good support online if you know what to look for vs. what problem your having. The only thing in my opinion is the fact it only runs one sensor vs. the two the FAST unit runs which for mustangs I like alot better for tuning when you get into idv. spark and timing for each cylinder but you almost always have to have egt on ech cylinder to pull it off properly which puts the range out of most eng management apps, bt might work great with carbs.

Do you actually have one? I'm curious what your experiences with it are? Seems very inexpensive and includes some pretty unique features for drag centric users.

Ive used the FAST dual bank and love it. Ive also added the RPM accessory to the kit. Nice and small handheld unit that logs.
