He had to repair a small oil pan leak he caused after bolting everything back up after accessing the timing cover and replacing the gasket. I'm trying to be patient, but this car just has me so infuriated, it's unreal.

Now, I don't know what to do about that Mustang I want. While part of me says to wait for the 400 hp 5.0L that's supposed to debut, part of me tellls me to go with the 4.6L, because it's proven to be a reliable engine.
With a blower, the 4.6L will make good power. Why wait.

I have a few buds that have blown mod motors, or boosted they do ok. Im not much for them. But a new pony with a 3v with 8lbs of boost will put you over 400 and with a tune and good exhaust, you will be in gt500 range but your looking at around 4500 or more .. Imo turbos are a better bang for your buck.

Well, I have a turbocharged car now (2005 STi), and while I like it, I like instantaneous power more.

Are there any companies out there that make a decent turbo kit for a Mustang?

I think the way to go is jump on the list for the 2010 Stang and get what you want. With the TC, this thing will be a wild stallion! Just do it! Or, maybe you can just drop another motor in the z and call it a day!

I don't need another motor in the Camaro...I just need the damned thing to run.

I had the guy that "fixed" it haul it off again this evening. Now, it won't even start. It may be an alternator, but I think it goes deeper than that. The timing cover gasket was replaced, and I'm thinking it may be something with that went wrong.

I say get rid of the Camero and go get yourself some pleasure out of a 03 04 Cobra!! Once a Camero starts to break it will take you down the dark path of an empty wallet!!
I say sell it b4 you don't have any cash. You can find a 03 04 Cobra for fairly inexpensive and its super easy and cheap to go faster than any camero that drives on the street and that goes for that new pig Camero too!!
So yeah you can say I'm a die hard Cobra fan but my Brother has had Camero's in the past and they are fix and repair daily and once you start putting mods on them its like the camero turns into an angry monster and starts to rebel like " WHY DID YOU MODIFY ME, I LIKE BEING SLOW ARRGGHHH!!
Sorry but good luck with your ride!!

Well, my Camaro ain't slow, and any car that you throw mods into is going to break. It's not a brand-specific problem.
