| | Thanks for fixing the pictures. My doggie was 4 years old, she had a kidney disease and she'd been getting better and then getting worse. I've spent oodles at the vet in the past 6-8 months but it was worth it. She did have a good life, she was on of those particular dogs, wouldn't come to just anybody...you had to EARN it...which made me love her that much more. Its cute when dogs are like oh human love me, but those that are more selective, it makes you feel more special I guess when they do. She was a Chihuahua...I have 2 other Chi's and also a lab, along with a boxer/husky mix puppy that I rescued. A lot of people are stuck on big dogs, and some love small dogs. I think each are wonderful, my Chi's are lovely little lap dogs that sit with me or sleep in the bed and my lab is the big smart protector of the house that guards the door. They each have a purpose ya know. Anyways, thanks, my dogs are like my kids, so its been really tough...I got up this morning and I felt like I still needed to let someone out to go potty, like somethings missing...and it is...guess it just takes some getting used to.

| | | StangGirl, there's another very fast lady racer that loves her dogs like her children. Amanda Long. She calls them her "fur children". Amanda is going to be featured in an article and photo spread on StangTV real soon. I think that you two have a lot in common. Fearless women on the track that love mustangs and dogs plus do their own maintenance.
Just don't get much better than that. |

| | | StangGirl, I think we all know how you feel about our four legged children. I have two dogs myself. One was my wife's and my first child. Lately, he has been having seizures and it gets us all worked up. So, I know it is tough now, but continue to love the other ones, they need it just as much now than before.

| | | Thanks ya'll. You are right Lloyd, its just tough I have had to remove all her things from around the house...her collar, her leash, her bowl, her little sweater for when it was cold. I have tons of pictures with her in them, and I'm a picture freak so shes in every room...which is good, but hard right now. Just taking things one day at a time from here on out thats all I can do.

Anything new with the Stang? Too busy? Perhaps, still in the planning phase? |

| | Busy, oh yes. My sister went 9 days overdue with her last child, whom she had yesterday. My dad was in town, I spent about a week very sick passing some of my kidney stones...it never ends haha. I'm not in the planning phase, my car has been a work in progress since 2000 but it often takes a back burner to bills as everyone I'm sure can understand. At the moment theres a wiring issue, and I can fix lots of things, including jerking that C4 out in a short amount of time...but I do NOT do wiring lol. Have a good friend in Houston who has offered to fix it, but I have no way to get it down there yet. Also I'm still chasing an elusive transmission leak...I think that car creates problems and sits back and laughs while I try to figure them out like a rat in a maze. Anywho, I hope everyone is doing well!

| | | Kidney Stones. Yikes. Been there, done that. Hurt like hell. You have my sympathy.
We were just worried about ya. Don't have near enough gals on this site, so we are overly concerned when you're absent.
I know what you're saying about wiring. I know enough to manage to get done what I need done, but that's about it. The good thing is; we have enough people on the forum that I can ask a question and someone will know the answer. SO, don't be afraid to ask.
Good to have you back. |
