Hey all,
Has anyone had a chance to see how the new Mustang Cobrajet is doing and what people are doing to change the car to make it even better ? I here it's 75K from Ford.

Who in the frack has $75K to spend in this economy on a mustang that has some Cobra jet badges on it??
Ford must of gotton together with George Lucas's marketing director cause just like those hundred variations of Darth Vader in his Star Wars figures/toys, now Ford will do the same thing with the Mustang and have 20 different mode of the same car & ask crazy money for it!!
Please just make your 3 models and get on with it and don't go broke on wasted dreams cause this economy will eat your breakfast, lunch & dinner because the Federal goverment has already turned you down once already!!

Did you miss the part where I said it was a DRAG RACE CAR. That means it can only be used as a RACE car and won't ever be able to get a Title or be meant to drive on the street. Aren't people that have DRAG RACE CARS spending that and MORE for their DRAG RACE CARS ?

There was 50 sold and that's alllllll Folks. At least for now. I don't know when the next batch will be sold. They had one of the Prototypes on Barrett Jackson. John Force drove it up on the stage him self ! He was reving it up and the whole thing, it was great ! For John Force to say it's fast is saying quite a bit !

OOOPs !, I assumed everyone knew this was a Drag Race car. Sorry if I didn't make that clear - over and out ! Back to the game - Football that is.....

OMG! it's a drag car? last I heard, about the car was when they were launching it in Vegas. I got to speak to some of the people that were directly involved in the design and manufacturer of many of the components on it... Yeah it is fast.! It is not a re-badged Cobra. This is a purpose built car.

BTW guys, don't get mad at Vader, his wife took away the keys to the Death Star for the weekend and is making him clean the house with her. He is just a little grumpy!!

I do know that the car will be making its NHRA debut at the Winter Nationals soon. In fact Calvert Racing has two of these cars and has been prepping one of them for racing with owner Scott Calvert behind the wheel.
