The reason the Ford guys can't hear it is because it sounds like it only happens when it the engine is cold. So when you drive the car over to the dealer, the engine is no longer cold. Have they had the car overnight and then listened for it? What kind of ticking sound is it, quite, loud? Is it rapid or slow?

I know that on the V8s, the cam phasers click under low oil pressure, but for the V6 applications, I am not sure if they have them or not.

I have let the ford dealers keep the car overnight several times
when i start the car it takes around two minutes for the injectors to quiet down and i sounds like a ticking sound that comes from the back of the engine it ticks for a good ten plus minutes it ticks louder than the exaust
one of the dealers told me to turn up the radio and do not worry about it
not the thing i want to hear about my brand new car

I doubt that it is a bottom end problem. You would hear it louder when it's under a load and when you let off and coast. Bottom end thumping is very easy to diagnose.

Just a thought, you might want to try some internal engine cleaner from Justice Brothers. See the specs. below:

INTERNAL ENGINE CLEANER

Part No. IEC/9
Removes oil system sludge, gum and varnish

Cleans engine oil system internally
Removes harmful deposits
Cleans anti-smog (PCV) valves by vapor action
Neutralizes internal engine acids
Cleans valves and hydraulic valve lifters
Contains JB Metal Conditioner®

Use this before your next oil change. Once you have the oil changed and run the motor, you'll be able to tell if you have a sticky internal component. It's a quick diagnosis check.
If you still have the ticking after that, then you may have a more serious problem. Anything from a cracked ring on the piston that makes noise until it get hot and expands and the noise goes away, to piston skirt tapping.

Start with the internal engine cleaner and oil change, use a gas path cleaner that you add to the gas tank, and see what happens then. Rule out the easy and inexpensive things first.

Hope that helps.

Take a video of it and post it, that way we can diagnose it.

Also, and I realize this may be a stupid question, but did they slap a Scanner on it and check for any trouble codes ?
If you have a tuner, I know mine allows me to check for trouble codes as well. If the scanner/tuner doesn't find anything wrong then at least it shouldn't be anything too major you wouldn't think. Just a couple thoughts. Was this a brand new car with a full warranty or a used Certified Ford? It wasn't mentioned.
