Nice T-bird! Vader,I switched from BFG's-DR's to MT DR's 275/50/15 and dropped from 1.8 60's to 1.6 60's but mine have a bit of sidewall to play with. I think you will definately do better with the MT's but with a 40 sidewall your not gonna get much especially with 600+ hp.

I'm defiantly going to put those tires to the test but I think I'm going to run them on my street tune.
The only thing that sux about getting these tires is that its taking like 6 weeks plus to get them. I've tried to go to America's tire and they say they could have them maybe in June. I don't understand whats taking so long??

I hope I get them before they invent cars that fly!!

The Vader is disapointed with the wait!!

Vader M/T has had a nationwide back order due to some changing DOT regulations. They should be back up to speed shortly.

nobottle the problem with e.t. streets is they just aren't streetable. the et radials have run into the 7s and you can drive them to the track.

is your car a street car or what?

I have a friend of mine with the same car as mine an 2003 cobra with a Whipple and it made 667 RWHP @ 670 RWTQ and he street races with it and it hooks great as well as allot of other people I know.
If you never driven a 03 04 Cobra you will understand what I'm talking about.
My thing is that when it comes to race day I have a set of Slicks for that action so I just need something for my street tune which will be in line with a little bit more than 625 RWHP.

Still can't wait to get them!!!!

My Snake makes 675RWHP @ 685RWTQ and I allready spent the money on some Nitto NT555R2's and after comming highly recommended all they do is spin in every gear. I know if I took this car handling with the power I make I would of been counting tree rings on the off some tree. Has anybody gotten those new Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials?? I've seen the old ET Mickeys so well under 600 But I hear that the new one are the ones to get??
I would love to hear anybodies advice or experience with them. Just incase you don't know what tires I'm talking about here's a picture.
Thanks for your help and advice!
Like you need tires - you never even take your car to the track anymore you slacker!

Why are you talking AGAIN!!
Bolt Sorter why are you dissing me all of a sudden??
Just because my car is down waiting for a new motor, that doesn't mean "I,m not a racer"!!
How many times have I've invited you guys to come to Irwindale Raceway and go racing but you guys always have some sort of excuse!!
I don't want to hear that you work and blah blah Blah because we all work but a real racer finds time to go down track not talk about it!
Lets see how many times have you raced a car in the last 2 years?? Maybe once and I live just as far from the track as you do!!

You know that every project takes time like The Heretic hmmm how many years is that taking....for get about that car. OHH how about project Grand ma...going on a year. Ohh how about project 666...hhmmm almost a year. My point is that real horse power takes times to perfect and it can't be rushed like fine wine!! You should know something about that.

So yes I would like to have my tires so I can roll my car around since I have no tires on my rims. But when I do have my car running and it will be sooner than never like some projects I know & we'll see how many times you suit up with me and go racing with me & maybe The Vader will give you a spanking all along 1320 feet.

I think you spend to much time dressing up your cats & you forgot what racing is all about let me demonstrate the difference bolt sorter!

This is Melissa's definition of being a drag racer!

And this is The Vader's definition of being a drag racer!!

So who is the drag racer now!!
Ohh I'm sorry I got you all confused you dress up your cats in drag

Listen James said it right, You are a "Bolt Sorter" and sorting bolts is what you do best. You know sorting out standard course thread bolts & fine thread bolts is what you do best , so don't get them confused Bolty!!

Listen You mess with The Vader I might just blow up your planet!!

The Vader has spoken!!

Heres a pic of me on MT E/T Drags. They hook pretty good as long as you don't try and dump the clutch at 4500 rpm!!LOL
