MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust now also offers several bolt-on Tru-X crossover pipe options, with or without catalytic converters, for the ’05-’08 4.6L Mustang GT.
The first three options include:
2.5” mandrel-bent tubing and MagnaFlow’s unique Tru-X crossover design.
The Tru-X crossover pipe reduces backpressure and optimizes engine exhaust pulses. This creates a scavenging effect which improves cylinder evacuation, resulting in improved horsepower and torque, with noticeably reduced dB levels.

- MagnaFlow’s new smaller spun converters with a metallic substrate for improved CFM
- Catless for maximum backpressure reduction and increase in performance.
For street-legal performance, MagnaFlow offers a fourth option.
This is a Tru-X crossover pipe with 2.5” mandrel-bent tubing that clamps on directly behind the factory catalytic converters, allowing for the scavenging effect and backpressure reduction of the Tru-X, but still remaining 50-state legal, as it retains the OE converters.
Technical:
Each assembly bolts on between the factory exhaust manifold and MagnaFlow’s cat-back exhaust system.
All options feature stainless steel construction with mandrel-bent tubing, O2 sensor bungs (if applicable), and all necessary hangers and flanges, and are manufactured to ISO9001 quality standards for a perfect fit.
