Low Vacuum
Would an inproperly seated injector cause a low vacuum condition?

That is possible, depends on how bad the mis-match is between the injector and the intake. Do you have any other symptons?

No,just loss of vacuum when I changed manifolds. I have checked and changed almost everything possible and still have only around 5hg at idle. Is driving me nuts trying to figure this out.

That is really way too low. If all that you did was change intakes, it's certain you have a serious vacuum leak. Was the intake manifold new?

Yes it was new. I have re-traced my steps and can't find any leaks or open lines. I even took a compression check and it was fine! It is not as if it did not run great before I changed the manifiold. It is a 347 NA that ran 12.00's @ 113mph ! All I can figure is there has to be a cut line or bad vacuum block some where. I've got the covers off now checking for broken springs or anything in the valve train. If you can think of any thing else please post it.
Thanks

Check your gaskets (manifold to heads, lower to upper manifold, throttle body, etc.), what about the hose nipples, barb fittings, etc?
Maybe more information on your combnation might help.

Thanks for the reply. I have checked all the normal stuff. I am in the process of getting it back togather now. I am going to replace any lines that look suspect. This has to be some stupid thing I am overlooking. I will post what I find.
Thanks
