KITTs sell for $300,000 at Barrett Jackson..
The pair of KITT cars that was scheduled to go up for Barrett-Jackson auction have been sold at that very auction for $300,000. These Knight Rider Mustangs were clones of GT500's are were never original cars.

Although you got both the "standard" and "attack mode" KITT Mustangs, in fact, one of the two KITT's is an automatic transmission vehicle. It's a hefty price to pay for a reproduction movie car, but everything sold at BJ seems to command a huge premium. One thing that really made it well worth it, and likely drove the price sky high - the winner also got the last 2009 GT500KR (yes, the KR which stands for Kings Ransom) which will be able to be purchased at list price. Other interesting sales at B-J include a 1967 GT500 Shelby which was Gold, (#659) which went for $190k...

So, what do y'all think? Worth it with the GT500KR?

Who has this kind of cash?

Sound off...

Well The Vader doesn't have the cash for a KR at an inflated price but has the cash for it sticker!!

Listen you put a terd of any car at a Barret Jackson auction and it will sell for good money!! Now add celebertism to it and now you can start demanding more the reasonable for it. But at least for $300K you get 2 car instead of one if I read it right at midnight. So is it a good deal or not.......I say yeah it is only because you et 2 KR's and they belonged to a TV show and its always going to be an eye grabber at whatever car show you take it to.

Now would The Vader sit his leather ass in one instead of his crusty 30 year old Tiefighter..I would have to pass on the KR. The KR can boost itself out of situations but my tie fighter can always fly out of any situation and blow them away if we are talking Hollywood.

The Vader has spoken!!
