$62,000. That is the price you have to pay to play with the very limited edition ROUSH Blackjack Mustang. Only 100 of these flat-black beasts will be available for purchase, making this one of the most expensive aftermarket Mustangs available today at over two times the normal price of a Mustang GT. Sure it looks sleek, bears the ROUSH nameplate and 430 horsepower, but is it worth the steep price? Jalopnik was lucky enough to get the chance to flail around in one recently, and wrote up a nice review.
It seems like ROUSH may have employed a witch doctor to cast a spell on the Blackjack Mustang, as it handles like a dream for what is already becoming an aging platform. 430 supercharger horsepower is a lot of ponies to play with, and as such massive BF Goodrich tires are necessary to put all that power to the road. The Blackjack also gets a distinguished seven-piece body kit, wide racing stripe, and fourteen inch rotors to bring all that money to a stop. Unfortunately for a $62,000 Mustang, the Jalopnik review cites some glaring problems, such improperly geared manual transmission and an interior that doesn’t fit the exclusivity of a 1-of-100 Mustang.
