Help
I have a 2000 Mustang GT. I went to manual brakes and manual steering.

1) I got the skinny kid manual brake kit with there master cylinder. How do I connect the braided lines to my stock calipers? Has anyone done this?

2) How do I delete the powersteering pump? I can't seem to find a delete kit. Kar Kraft used to have one but not anymore. How do I do this with my vortech supercharger?

Thank you for the help.

Nate

Nate, I'll see if I can help. With a manual brake kit and the SKRC Master Cylinder, all you need is adapter fittings to attach the AN lines to your brakes. The AN lines use a 37-degree flare. You can get the fittings you need at Russell or Earls. I'd give Skinny a call he probably stocks them.

For the power steering pump removal, I'm not sure who makes a kit. You might want to try http://www.marchperf.com/index.html

You sure you can't bypass it with a shorter belt. Do you still have A/C? What are you powering - just the alt and water pump?

James is right, you might be able to just by-pass it with a shorter belt. Or if you would rather use a kit and remove the pump as well, http://www.metcomotorsports.com/prod...p?cat=103&pg=3 makes a power steering delete kit for the GT500, not sure if that would work on the GT. Anyone know?

Thanks for the help guys. I found the fitting you are refering to at Summit. All I need to know is it 10mm, 3/8, or 7/16 banjo fitting to -3an?? I think its 10mm. Here is the part number for the one at summit. 997631ERL

I called metco and it will only work on the GT500. March doesn't have one either. Kar Kraft used to make one but they said not any more.
