I used to go down the 1/4 at LACR until it closed in 07. My best time was a altitude adjusted 13.1 @107. I've been thinking alot lately about road racing at Willow Springs. Just worried that someone will slam into me there. Insurance doesn't cover the track, Tempted though!

If your looking to do road racing and are worried about people crashing into you or you crashing, autocross is an excellent option to consider. That way it is just you on the track and the worst you can crash into is a few cones. Plus you will become a better driver for road racing if you do plan to go the route later down the road.

Yeah autocross is a good idea. How would I go about finding that in my area? Maybe contact SCCA.
For some reason I'm not receiving email notification from this site. I checked the CP and its set right.

scca does do autocross, they call it solo. Just check on google for ones in your area. Or start you own, all you need is some cones and a parking lot.
