Hello
Hello all,

My name is Ray. I am 35 from south western Pennsylvania where I work at a local Lincoln Mercury dealership as a technician. I use to work in the enviromental clean up field until an accident sent 3 close friends to the er. I figured it was time to get out and since cars where a big hobby here I am today. My toy that hasnt moved under its own power in almost 5 years is a 93 calypso lx hatch. Im in the process of building a r block 331 allforged turbo motor. It may run before im dead

Hello blue92
I have been watching the nmra race coverage since they started. I just finally joined. My car is a sore subject it hasnt moved in almost 5 years going back to school at 32 hurt the project. When finished i hope it will be a multipurpose street strip and open track day car. I got most of the suspension done. needs paint, after i get the welding done. The motor is close to done still need trans and fuel system. I switched to f lug four wheel discs too. I dont know how to post pics or id try to put some up.

sounds like a fun project, what are you doing for the engine combination?

to post pics you just use a site like photobucket or flickr and then just press the button when making a post that looks like a photo. then just paste the link to the photo there

Hey Ray. What a coincidence, I worked for years as an emergency responder, ground water compliance and underground storage tank specialist. I also stopped when the stakes got to high. Cars are also a big hobby around here. Californian's love their cars.
So tell me, with all that environmental training, do you worry about emissions? Don't get me wrong. I'm not a leaf licking bunny hugger. I run wide open exhaust and I don't give it even one afterthought. Just trying to figure out where you are at on the environmental thoughts.
