Habitat for Insanity
Welcome to my world, the PowerTV Garage. We're so busy right now with project cars that I long for the day when I only had to worry about 1 project car, and that was the one that I drove back and forth to work. A daily driver project car. Now I have several and that's turning out to be a recipe for insanity.

Let me bring you into my habitrail and you can see how all of us hamsters are running on the wheel:

Project Swinger Nova

Look real close and you can see the garage floor through the floorboards.

This week I have been replacing the floorboards with new stamped steel ones from Classic Industries. This is a very meticulous and time consuming job because the stub frame bolts to the body right in the areas that need to be replaced. This job alone is enough to make me pull what's left of my hair out.

Once the floorboards are done, I have a complete air ride suspension system that will be installed in this vehicle. I also have a new steering rack from steeroids that will be replacing the sloppy stock one. Two more jobs that require a great attention to detail.

Project 666. Our Fox Bodied Mustang. The brake system has been converted to a real nice Wilwood street/strip brake system with a manual brake conversion from Maximum Motorsports, a brake bias adjuster from Wilwood and a line loc/Roll control from TCI. We're just finishing these items right now and will be test driving it tomorrow. Usually I like to work on brakes at my house and have a few beers. After a six pack or two, I give it a pretty thorough test drive. PowerTV management won't let me do that here so I am trying a new method of brake maintenance: Beerless.

Project Grandma. Her Edelbrock/Pat Musi five fifty five crate engine is here.
There is a whole spectrum of suspension and wiring upgrades that need to be performed before the engine can go in.

The list goes on and on. There will be articles and videos on these projects.

There was a time when I wished for all the parts I would need to build out my project car. I would look in catalogs and dream of these parts. At night when I slept, I had visions of automotive parts dancing in my head.

The moral of the story: Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

Now I go to sleep and I have visions of automotive parts chasing me down the street attempting to kill me.

Welcome to PowerTV Garage, Habitat for Insanity.

Do your dreams have the theme song from Attack of the Killer tomatoes and instead of tomatoe it tools!!!!
I think you forgot a few of your projects. Was that omission by choice of just pure and plain old age creeping up on you again.

Just having a senior moment.

Dude, I didn't forget. I pushed them out of my memory bank for the time being. If I started dwelling on everything on the "Honey do" list, I would be asking for a divorce.
